2018 Vermont CARES AIDS Walk
Each year, we use our AIDS Walk to raise funds and much-needed awareness about HIV across Vermont, as our state together takes great strides to work toward zero new HIV infections, and a healthier state for people living with, or at risk of, the virus. We invite you to come join us with a team of friends, family, or loved ones to learn how we’re working together with great partners like Magic Hat on our “Road to Zero.”
Vermont as a state should be so proud of the work we’ve all done together to improve HIV healthcare, HIV medication access, housing for people with HIV/AIDS, and strong prevention programs. We cannot build this strong system of care without your help, so we ask you to step out to stop AIDS on October 14th with a collection of our diverse allies.
We’ll start registration for the Walk at 9:00am, with a 10:00am step-off. Walk heads downhill on Main Street to Battery Street, then to Pearl Street, then reconnecting to Church Street until returning to City Hall Park. Lawn games and other gathering activities will be on hand for a fun and family-friendly morning.
Venue: City Hall Park, Burlington
