Services and Support:

Vermont CARES offers a comprehensive range of support services for individuals living with HIV/AIDS. This includes case management, access to medical care, emergency financial assistance, housing assistance, and transportation support.

If you’re seeking harm reduction services, Vermont CARES operates a Syringe Syringe Program (SSP) to provide sterile syringes, harm reduction supplies like Narcan and information on safer drug use practices.

If you’re seeking harm reduction services and can’t make it to one of our four offices, we will meet you where you are. We have two vans and staff use personal vehicles as well.

Vermont CARES is committed to HIV prevention through community education and outreach. They provide resources and workshops on HIV transmission, testing, and prevention strategies.

Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) and Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) are vital tools in preventing HIV transmission. Vermont CARES can connect individuals to resources and information about accessing PrEP and PEP services.

Vermont CARES is inclusive and provides support and resources for the LGBTQ+ community. They strive to create a safe and welcoming environment for all individuals.
